We are nearly 3 years into offering our Dental Assistant Distance Delivery Program at Risio Institute, and we are so proud to say that we now have students from the West Coast to the East Coast! When we began our first 3 cohorts in 2020, we had 14 students in total, spanning across Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
In 2021, we began delivering monthly intakes, offering students more flexibility with start-dates, and enrolled students from Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
In 2022, we continued with enrolling students in these four provinces, and also included Ontario, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland!!!
Risio Institute’s educational model offers flexibility and the ability for students to stay in their hometown to ‘earn while they learn’. Students in our program can keep their dental office position, while learning in Risio’s online environment and blended clinical model!
We continue to brainstorm ideas that will assist the dental industry in Canada with solving staff shortage issues, and create lasting results for this profession that we love so much!
