This year, Dental Assistant’s Week spans from March 3rd to March 9th! We are
SO excited to celebrate this very important week with our dental assisting
students and our Risio dental assisting team! Dental Assistants not only
complete very intensive training in their field to become licensed to perform
intra-oral skills, they also have a yearly continuing competence (in some
provinces this is called CE credits) program that they must adhere to. This
ensures that all Dental Assistants are continually learning and building upon
their foundational skills!
As the saying goes, ‘teamwork makes the dreamwork’! Dental Assistants are an
integral part of the oral health care team. Their teamwork and collaboration
with the entire team elevates the dental practice to new heights. Patients rely
on Dental Assistants to help them remain calm throughout their appointments
and dentists rely on them to facilitate the appointment!
Keep your eyes open for our ‘giveaway’ that we are doing for our students in
