We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
-Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
-Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
-Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
-Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic.
-Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
-Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
-Handle administrative tasks including billing, insurance verification, and patient check-in/check-out.
-Support orthodontic procedures and assist with pediatric dentistry when required.

Proficient knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.

Experience with dental software systems like Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable.

Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
