Looking for a FT chairside assistant for growing GP practice. We do a variety of restorative and surgical procedures and Invisalign. Use Trios and iTero digital scanners for Invisalign and some restorative procedures. Breakdown of duties:

Chair-side:

-Preparing and maintaining dental instruments, supplies and equipment
-Collecting and recording patient health histories- BP
-Patient management during dental procedures
-Instrument transfer
-Dental procedure isolation techniques
-Preparation of dental materials:
-Cements
-Amalgam
-Composite
-Impression materials
-Set up of sterile procedures
-Dental Charting (Dentrix)
-Prevention and management of dental emergencies
-Inventory control and management
-Room stocking (sundries, stone, alginate towels)
-Day End duties, garbage’s, etc
-Taking intra oral photos, and importing into the computer + extra oral photo’s
-helping hygiene with any duties they may need done (pl, fl, x-rays, room turnaround)
-Making Vitamin packs, filling anti-biotic vials, pt gauze packs
-make post op baggies
-weekly rotation to clean sterilizers
-Isolite system
-Dolphin Photos + software

Expanded Functions:

-Taking dental x-rays, ICAT scan
-Polishing the teeth to remove stains and soft deposits
-Applying topical fluoride treatments
-Taking impressions and bite registrations
-Applying pit and fissure sealants
-Placing and removing periodontal dressings
-Removing surgical sutures
-Adaption of temporary crowns
-Placing topical medications
-Removing excess cement from fabrication restorations
-Putting on rubber dams
-Invisalign procedures and protocols
