Located in downtown Invermere, the Invermere Dental Clinic has been serving patients in our community for more than 25 years! Our dental office is looking for a friendly and dependable Dental Assistant to join our staff. We are looking for an individual who is reliable, organized and works well with others as part of a team. The right candidate would be able to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with no evenings or weekends required.
As the right candidate, you will:
– Greet patients
– Prepare exam rooms
– Assist the dentist during patient examinations and dental procedures
– Take dental radiographs
– Sterilize and disinfect equipment
– Set up instrument trays
– Clean exam rooms and replenish supplies
– Assist with infection control protocols
– Manage inventory and take part in supply ordering

What we are looking for:
– Active Registration with BCCOHP
– Certification as a Full Certified Dental Assistant
– 1+ years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply!
– Valid CPR certification
Should someone not licensed as a CDA be interested, we can also discuss an opportunity as a chairside assistant (using Risio, of course!) trained in our office!
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $29.00-$33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
