Accredited Status Awarded to Risio Institute!

We are so excited to announce that Risio Institute was awarded ‘Accredited Status’ this November, 2022!

The Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC) attended a site survey visit in June, 2022, for two days at Risio Institute in Calgary. This included a rigorous review of the Dental Assistant Distance
Delivery Program, from the business framework, to the online theory component, to the clinical component. The full site survey also consisted of interviews with the Co-founders (Carey-Ann and Casey),
Risio faculty and Risio students. It was an intense two days! Since June, we have awaited this exciting news that followed the CDAC Board Meetings in November.

What an amazing accomplishment it is! Our team has worked so hard for this status and we will continue to work hard each year to maintain accredited status at Risio Institute. We would like to thank all of our
students and all of our sponsoring dentists, along with the dental community across Canada, for their support over the past 2.5 years since we launched our program. Without this support and the belief that Risio Institute could succeed, we would not be where we are today!

What’s next? We have great things in store for Risio! Stay tuned for courses that we are planning to offer in 2023, following submission and approval to the College of Alberta Dental Assistants (CADA).

Happy holidays to you all! And thank-you, again!
